City of White Salmon, WA
The City of White Salmon requires all businesses to register and pay a $35 license fee annually. Building permits must be obtained for all new construction, re-roofing and structural alterations as well as Mechanical and Plumbing alterations. Home Occupations in a residential neighborhood must be submitted to the Planning Director. Short Plats, Conditional Uses and Variances must be submitted to the Planning Department for review by the Planning Commission.
City Council meetings are the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6 pm in the City Council chambers, Park Center Building, White Salmon. Planning Commission meetings are the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the same location.
System Development charges are imposed on each new connection to the city's water and wastewater based on the size of the meter and the number of units in a commercial building. A 3/4" inch connection within the city limits is $2150. Outside the city limits is $3010. Wasterwater connection fee is $2500 per unit.
