Mission
The mission of the Port of Skamania County is job creation through industrial, commercial and recreational development to diversify the local economy.

Services / Programs Offered:
The Port of Skamania County owns and operates industrial, commercial and recreational facilities in North Bonneville, Stevenson and Carson, Washington. The Port initiates and participates in public and private partnerships which encourage economic and community development. We strive to seek a variety of new and innovative means for supporting the local communities and businesses, and encourage new business for the benefit of the community as a whole.
Facilities:
- Industrial Parks - North Bonneville, Washington ~
Land with infrastructure available for development located just off State Route 14, approximately 5 miles from the Bridge of the Gods and Interstate 84, and 32 miles from Interstate 205/Interstate 5 and the Portland/Vancouver metro area.
- Industrial/Commercial Site - Stevenson, WA ~
This mixed-use industrial/commercial site on the Columbia River waterfront houses a variety of businesses including a restraurant, windsurf and kite board manufacturers, an aerospace firm, a telecommunications firm, two engineering firms, two law firms and a molded fiberglass assembly manufacturer. This comercial/industial area is just three blocks from State Route 14.
- Columbia River Waterfront Land Parcels ~
These parcels are adjacent to the shoreline, and adjacent to developed recreational facilities. They are available for destination business development in support of the recreational and tourism industry. This site is part of the downtown core of the City of Stevenson.
- Stevenson Landing ~
A state-of-the-art docking facility designed to accommodate the cruise ship industry. Two cruise lines offering overnight Columbia River Cruises, and two cruise lines offering day trips are currently docking at this facility.
- Beacon Rock Golf Course
Area Served:
- The Port of Skamania County District does not include all of Skamania County. However, the Port's focus for economic development includes the entire county and its residents. In addition, The Port of Skamania County gladly cooperates with neighboring ports when it comes to economic development of the Columbia Gorge.
Miscellaneous Information:
- The Port focuses on the unique assets of Skamania County by encouraging the development of the recreation and tourism industry, as well as working to increase the resources needed to diversify the county's economic base through business and light industrial development. Both avenues of economic development are taken with the desire to retain the rural character and life styles of Skamania County.
